ScalingAura wasn't born in a fancy office. It started in a lower-middle-class home where my father worked with his hands every single day, not because he wanted to, but because he had to. Our uncles helped clothe us, feed us. There was love, but there was also pressure, the kind you feel before you even understand it.
I wanted to be a cricketer. That dream didn't make it past 17.
From Delivering Orders on a Bike to Running 4 Jobs at Once
At 17, family responsibilities landed on my shoulders. I dropped the bat and picked up anything that paid. Facebook pages, market runs, bike deliveries, I did it all while barely finishing intermediate. Then my aunt stepped in and helped me get into university. That's where everything changed.
A friend there was a freelancer. He didn't just teach me, he hired me. I was earning PKR 23,000/month at my full-time job. Then I added 3 more part-time jobs alongside it. E-commerce store management, all day, every day. For 3 years straight, I ran 4 jobs simultaneously, not because I wanted to grind, but because Pakistan's inflation doesn't wait for anyone.
Eventually, something shifted inside me. I started building my own client base on Upwork and Freelancer, still working the full-time, still doing the part-time, until I had enough to let them go. I built a small team: my siblings, my closest friends. People I could trust. Because in this business, one bad delivery can cost you a client you worked months to earn.
That's how ScalingAura was born. Not with investment. Not with connections. With 4 jobs, a bike, and a refusal to stop.
